    100MWh Shared Energy Storage Project of Nyocor in Shishou

    Rated total installed capacity of energy storage system

    This project is the first shared electrochemical energy storage power station of SVOLT, with a rated total installed capacity of 50MW/100MWh for the energy storage system.

    Shared energy storage can reduce the investment cost of new energy projects, play a role in power regulation, and promote the matching of power supply and demand. Furthermore, it can also enhance the regulatory support capacity of the power grid system, and significantly increase the installed capacity and grid connection scale of renewable energy such as photovoltaic and wind power.

    Project installation

    The project was officially put into operation on December 30, 2020, with an installed capacity of 5MW/10MWh.     Site 1: Located on the reserve land outside the parking lot of Lens Technology Park in Dongguan City, the project has a volume of 19MW/38MWh. A three-dimensional energy structure is constructed in the project by utilizing the reserve land. The steel structure overhead method is adopted to achieve integrated application of light storage and charging, solving the problems of parking, charging, and peak load shifting in the park.

    Site 2: Located in Dongguan Internet Industrial Park, the project has a volume of 500kWMh. It makes full use of the park space to solve the parking, charging, peak load shifting, power backup and other problems in the park through three-dimensional methods.

    For the Grid-Connected 400000 KW Photovoltaic + Energy Storage Marketization Project of Guangdong Hydropower Group in Awat County, SVOLT provided a total of 80 prefabricated battery compartments, with a single unit capacity of 5.0176 MWh and a total capacity of 401.408 Wh. The energy storage system can achieve applications such as solar energy storage integration, energy transfer, primary frequency regulation, secondary frequency regulation, reactive power support, short-circuit capacity, black start, virtual inertia, damping, etc. in conjunction with photovoltaic power generation. Furthermore, the energy storage system can accept grid dispatching and participate in grid auxiliary services.
